2 motherboards.
No ram
why waste money on blue ray when its not mainstream yet, just stream to your tv HD straight from your pc.
especially when im pre sure thats just a reader.

why are you using 1366 sockets
antec psu..
antec 900's are terrible.
its all terrible..

whats your budget

only thing i like is that 560ti top card.

Change what you want around to budget, I did this build for another thread, just smack in a bigger graphics card or 2 and yay for gaming !! Also minus the cost of what you dont need in there etc

Pretty much it is a good base to start around

This is good.
Personally I prefer the ATH-AD700s and I wouldn't get a network media player.

rest I agree on

i doubt he is going to build a media center..
By the look of the blue ray he might want to watch hd movies on a tv.

The media player is just easy.
iv used this one a few times and had no problems

Thanks for that, thats all i was after.
Anyway he lives in brissy and was gonig to order off PCCG and get his local shop to build it for him etc. They quoted him $200 an hour for assembly and they reckon it would take them 5 hours so 1k for assembly he said **** it. But he just went down the shops to pick up this build or something.
HD 6960 2gb GFX card
and an i3 cpu. i tried to convince him to go i7 but the guy convinced him he doesnt need it.
anyways hes getting a decent cpu that the guy has himself and hes building him one (or has one ready to go) and he said it will run BF3 perfectly full settings etc doing him a deal for $1600 all installed virus protection, 7.1 headset, windows 7 etc.
but yeah dunno if he made the right choice but tbh its better doing it that way for him cause he has no idea how to build it and hes not gonna pay a grand for assembly.
