Thanks for that, thats all i was after.
Anyway he lives in brissy and was gonig to order off PCCG and get his local shop to build it for him etc. They quoted him $200 an hour for assembly and they reckon it would take them 5 hours so 1k for assembly he said **** it. But he just went down the shops to pick up this build or something.
HD 6960 2gb GFX card
and an i3 cpu. i tried to convince him to go i7 but the guy convinced him he doesnt need it.
anyways hes getting a decent cpu that the guy has himself and hes building him one (or has one ready to go) and he said it will run BF3 perfectly full settings etc doing him a deal for $1600 all installed virus protection, 7.1 headset, windows 7 etc.
but yeah dunno if he made the right choice but tbh its better doing it that way for him cause he has no idea how to build it and hes not gonna pay a grand for assembly.
5 hours to put a PC together? they must be the worst PC shop in AUS

Takes 15-30 minutes to build a computer, depending on how distracted I am and how many customers interrupt me. Your local PC shop is a rip off with know-nothing ****witts working there. I suggest you disregard everything they told you and buy the parts from PCCG yourself. It really is an easy process to build your own computer. So easy in fact sometimes I wonder why I get paid to do it.
