Hey all, Minea here.

Looking to buy the following things when I can acquire the funds. Was wondering if there is any better products around the same price range.

Peripherals:
Headset - AD700+Zalman Mic - $159ish
Keyboard - Steelseries 6GV2 - $120
Mouse - Razer Deathadder V2 - $59

Computer:
Case - BitFenix Shinobi - $75
PSU - Strider Plus 600W - $99
MOBO - ASUS P8Z68-V - $199
CPU - i5 2500k - $225
Cooler - AYWAN RADI V10 - $40
RAM - Corsair 8GB Vengeance - $75

Was wondering if I should go with liquid cooling, or stick to air cooling. Any advice on this would be great as i'm not that informed .

liquid cooling is pointless unless you wanna give it ago, show off your epeen or will be overclocking and need to keep low temps, even though the sandy bridge chips are rather cool anyways. if you overclock get the 2500k

Headset - good choice if you want a headset (maybe not for that price), but AD-700s + a clip on mic are better for only a little more money
Keyboard - good, could also consider a Leopold Mechanical Keyboard with Brown switches
Mouse - good choice

Case - Silverstone Raven RV03 / Corsair Graphite 600T, you probably don't need that case
Mobo - Get an ASUS one, ASrock are pretty unreliable
CPU - i5 2500K is better, because you can overclock them a lot easier. It's very easy to do, you can literally just copy a youtube video.
RAM - Vengeances or G.Skill Ripjaws are the best RAM for sandy bridge, so yeah go for it

also air cooling will be better than water cooling for that build, get something like a Thermalright Silver Arrow

Any particular ASUS mobo, i'm trying to keep it as cheap as possible, that's why there is no GPU, ODD or HDD.

Here is the revised list so far:

Peripherals:
Headset - AD700+Zalman Mic - $129ish (Don't know where to find the ad700s cheapest)
Keyboard - Steelseries 6GV2 - $120
Mouse - Razer Deathadder V2 - $59

Computer:
Case - Silverstone Raven RV03 - $159
MOBO - ASRock H67M - $139
CPU - i5 2500k - $225
Cooler - Thermalright Silver Arrow - $89
RAM - Corsair 8GB Vengeance - $75

Wait, what? Is this meant to be a full new build? Do you have any parts already?

PC Case Gear is pretty good, and there are a few good ebay stores.

K, you'll need a PSU, GPU and HD, so bring those across. What kind of GPU do you have and what's your budget for the new stuff?

No SET budget, but I want to keep it as cheap as possible, I have a Thermaltake Litepower 600w PSU, Sapphire 5770 and some 1tb HDD from about 2 years ago.

I've read enough of his posts to see that they lack intelligence.

From what I have h67 is not what you want for gaming. P67 or z68 not 100% sure but I heard h67 is for general home use computers.

I've never had an issue with asrock, haven't used one of their boards in a few years though.

It's not as though they're terrible, they have a bad rep for being DOA though.

H67s are okay, but Z68s are a lot better. Try to squeeze one into your budget if at all possible. Because you've got an ATi card you can get the Z68-V LE/LX boards and can still crossfire (Y)
