Hey guys.

Basically I have a netbook, a network, a PC and the Windows 7 install disc, and I want to know if I can install windows 7 on the netbook over the network whilst the disk is in the optical drive in my pc. Google has not helped me, and I could have found out first hand but I'd rather just find out beforehand.

No particular reason, curiosity i guess. That and i dont want to stuff around with flash drives and all that shit

Yes - set your netbook to boot from the network or ethernet controller in the BIOS, as if you were telling it to boot from a PC. It may then ask you to specify a location, you then tell it the CD drive on the other PC.
