The first round will be played on Sunday 25th September @ 8:00PM. If your team is unable to make this time/date you are free to reschedule.
All games will be played in a best of 3 maps format and the first choice of map will be decided by a repair drill battle. If we are tied at 1 map each the admin/ref gets to choose the last map.

Just to clarify what if each team wins a map and then the third map it is a 3-3 tie, then what happens?

just clarifying this point because in last seasons finals there were 2 different methods used by different admins. In one of the matches each team won a match each then tied the final map, and the victory was given to the team that scored the most overall points. Whereas in the other match there was a game each won and then a tie, then a fourth map was played, and if the previous system had been used, then the victor would have been different. It is better to establish these sort of rules now rather than repeat the debacle from last time.

says in the rules at a 1- 1 map tie then admin chooses third map. Just asking what happens when this third map goes to a tie with a round score of 3-3. It is the best of 3 maps but out of the 3 maps it's still a tie....

Usually if a third map is needed the admin decides which map will be used but I am thinking of doing something different this time.
2 maps have already been played, they cant be repeated. The team that lost the repair tool round chooses a map to be eliminated from the 7 maps that are left to pick from, then the repair tool winner picks one etc etc, until we have 2 maps left.
The team that won the repair tool battle then decides between those maps.

So we still have only 1 repair tool battle at the beginning of the match up but now they have first choice of map or side in the beginning and if there is a third map needed they have final decision of which map will be played.
