Dedicated Servers

I guess we are stuck with P2P for another year, but on a brighter note, "[Matchmaking] is not the same as Black Ops. Lots of improvements went in for party + local searches." "

Dedicated servers on PC, cya later confags. To me this seems like they are listening to the competitive community? And with this XP stupid event thing they actually support the competitive side of console, maybe they'll show some love for us PC PROS.

Still reckon BF3 is better though

hate to say it but no, they weren't listening to the competitive community. Just a cheap way to get more PC users back because of BF3 having dedi servers. Can guarantee if BF3 was scheduled for release about the same time that MW2 was set for, we would have seen dedi servers for MW2.

Again I doubt it, console community is larger (unfortunately) so thats where the money is. Activision won't focus on us, we're becoming a niche market compared to consoles ;(
