Sorry this is properly a stupid question but when ever i am looking at ladders i see CGi and CGO tournaments and stuff, I was just wondering if i could get a in depth explanation on what these stand for ( if anything ) and what is better. Mainly just what they are.

Invite is made up of the top 8 australian teams. Main is the next best 8 teams in the country. Amateur is the next best 16 teams in the country.

Open is a free to all ladder comprised of those who aren't currently competing in i/m/a. It is a ladder system as opposed to a league system(i/m/a)
