I need a new computer for bf3 and open beta is out this week so then I can get a better gauge on what parts are necessary but was fooling around with builds and came up with this

Image
1)I added thermal paste because I wasn't sure if any came with 212+, but some does so disregard that
2)I'm fairly certain that the mobo doesn't support nvidia SLI-but I really don't intend to use it

Also does anybody know if the CPU cooler will be blocking ram slots with that ram/mobo?

Feedback appreciated

also dat_shipping

The hyper 212+ comes with thermal paste but I don't think it's that good, not sure, I didn't use it lol.Oh and it wont block the RAM seeing as you're only using 2 sticks, it'll be fine. Btw it'd be a better idea to buy a case at a local shop like MSY rather than spending $60-70 trying to get it shipped to you

Also, i would recommend these rams

www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=186_218_1125&products_id=16437

www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=186_218_1125&products_id=16848

www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=186_218_1125&products_id=18096

They are all the same, just different colours, also have a look at the Asus p8z68-v PRO motherboard not the LE. Then you will be sweet, maybe also chuck in a ssd (corsair force series 3 60gb) if you wish.

Hope this helps.

finally a good build posted... Someones done their research

Only thing i would change

Is getting an AYWAN RADI V10
Much better cooler and only $6-7 more.

i would get 8 gig corsair vengeance ram (same price)
Its mostly personal preference.. Same specs really, vengeance looks better (the blue versions look aesome on the z68)

if you can afford it get an ASUS p8z68-V $199

thermal paste is unneeded.

Haters dont really hate you, they hate themselves because you're a reflection of what they wish to be.

That would be fine if I didn't live in the middle of nowhere and all the local shops were ripoffs

Just a tip, i dont why anyone would do this or even use it anymore, dont get XP if you planned on it (as i said idk why you would nowadays) BF3 doesnt support it, tis why ill be depressed on release date Beta for about 2-3 days while karma works his Magic.
