Well if the poster doesnt explain everything you need to know, here is some additional information;
- Each game will be run one after the other
- Each game goes for 2 weeks, in order: LoL, SC2, CoD4
- All money donated to charity
- Awesome prizes to be given away

How does this competition work?
Basically we have chosen three of the top games within the Australian competative scene and decided to help use this competitive might for a good cause.

We will be running a double elimination tournament for each of our three chosen games (CoD4, LoL and SC2) but there is a twist, these competitions are being run for Amatuer players only.

The format's for the games will be as follows;
SC2 - 2 double elimination tournaments, with 32 players in each. The winner from each group will play off in the finals, seeded placings.
LoL - 1 double elimination tournament, 32 teams, seeded.
CoD4 - 1 double elimination tournament, 32 teams, seeded.

To keep with the Amatuer direction of the tournament, the following restrictions are put in place;
SC2 - Bronze and Silver league players only
LoL - Players may have not competed in any invite league (ie. CGi) in the past 12 months
CoD4 - Each player must have not competed in any invite or professional league within the last 12 months (ie. CGi)

You can find more in-depth rules on the forums: www.tteal.com.au/forums

How does this competition benefit the charity?
For starters, each spon soring partner will be putting $300 towards our chosen charity Starlight Childrens Foundation, ontop of this, the $5 entry fee for the games will all be donated to charity.

If players and spectators wish to donate any extra money to the chosen charity, you can do so by going to this link and donating. Please make sure you use your real name and gamer name so we can track you! http://www.everydayhero.com.au/ttcharitychallenge
Look below for an awesome donator prize!

How do I sign up?
Head to www.tteal.com.au/forums and register an account.
At the top of the board you will see 'Charity Challenge', click on this and chose your game. Start dates, prize information and a signup section will all be included in there.

The benchmark for sc2 is really low imo.
I think platinum or lower ranked players should be considered amateur
Bronze and silver league are way too easily obtainable (i would equate these to be baseline players, internode or console level). CGm/i players would definitely be masters/grandmasters.

Taken from wiki

League Targeted Ratio of Active Players
Grandmaster 200 players
Master 2%
Diamond 18%
Platinum 20%
Gold 20%
Silver 20%
Bronze 20%

I will talk it over with the SC2 admin for you b1nd. As the OP says, the info is vague and the TTEAL website will have the final say.

I think i should buy sc2 and enter. I'm asian so the learning curve will be easy like calculus.

Oh also to avoid the qwz situation that has troubled the quix cup, why don't you make it so players who have played in a cgi/cgm team or on their roster in season 4 and beyond ineligible. Basically after the huge gap of cgo seasons.

Save the rule/game related questions for the other forums when they are completed, this is just awareness and an announcement.
Don't stress yet mate

What about CGm players?
Or is this only open to CGo and CGa teams?
