Grand Final
After a brief stint of pool play, the top 4 players from each pool were placed into the Grand Final making the top 8. The top 8 comprised of Auuz, zJim, Traavizz & Jawz from the green pool and Boxiee, v Hawkeye, Packerr & Willyum xo from the blue pool. With reputations to uphold and wooden spoons to be earned, the Grand Final was soon underway!

Rounds 1, 2 & 3

SMG
The Sub Machine Gun round was the fastest of them all. Guns blazing, people dying left, right & center! This was a round that would ultimately showcase to the community those players with the greatest positioning and on occasions those with the fastest reaction time (now you know why OzFalcon doesn't compete ). The standouts in this round were zJim, placing first with 42 kills and Willyum bringing it up the rear with 41 kills. Doing what he came in this competition to to do best was v Hawkeye, taking out the wooden spoon in the SMG round so the other players didn't have to be embarrassed. What a kind gentleman! The end result looked a little something like this ~

AR
Coming into the second round, the scores were still to close for any individual to feel "safe" as there was only a single kill separating first and second. The Assault Rifle round turned into AK-47 paradise with a single FAL in the mix and the occasional M16. The standout players for this round were Packerr & Jawz tying for first with 43 kills a pop followed closely by zJim & Traavizz with 42 kills each. Again being the gentleman he is, v Hawkeye decided he would bottom score in his pursuit of the wooden spoon. The final scores for the Assault Rifle round are as follows:

SNIPER
Kicking off the last round of the event, it was zJim and Willyum who went in with a lead of two or so kills. Variable or Normal was the question asked at the start of this round with players choosing a mixture of the two. This round was neck and neck the entire match with both zJim and Jawz taking the lead from the other several time throughout the 8 minutes that never seemed to end. Fortunately for them when it did end, it was a tie! Both zJim and Jawz took first place with 44 kills a piece followed by Traavizz on 36 and Auuz on 34. Again a notable shout-out to v Hawkeye for accomplishing his goal and gaining the famed wooden spoon. Hopefully he can cook up a storm in Modern Warfare 3 ! The final results for the Sniper round were ~

Final Placings
After what seemed like hours for the lads, the finals were finally over. A massive congratulations to zJim who managed to take out the fan favorites going into this, Packerr & Traavizz, to claim the Black Ops Season 3 Free For All championship with 128 kills. Coming second after being edged out of first place was Jawz with an admirable 122 kills. Bringing home the bronze medal was Season 2's winner Packerr. Lying just outside the top 3 was Willyum with his forth place finish with 110 kills. Tying it up for fifth and sixth were Auuz and Traavizz sitting on 108 kills each followed by Boxiee on 90 kills. Living up to his word and coming last in every round and eventually overall was v Hawkeye with 76 kills which earned him a solid wooden spoon crafted from the world renowned magical oak tree (better than first prize ey ?). The final results combined are as follows:
