Been getting this error all afternoon/night. Anbody know how to fix or what is wrong.

firewall could be blocking it, using a third party one or windows firewall? had similar thing when trying BF3 beta, adding to exceptions fixed it.

i just allowed Origin in windows firewall. All real time shields are off in avast. Still not working, ideas?

i had nothing but trouble with avast so i removed it, been using comodo ever since, seems to work better and is more lightweight.

just uninstalled then, going to restart pc and see if origin has stopped being a ****.
