MSI GTX 570 Twin Frozr III PE/OC
Intel Core i5 2500K
ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 Motherboard
G.Skill Ripjaws F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB HD103SJ
Antec Nine Hundred Case
OCZ Fatal1ty Series 750W Modular
Samsung SH-222AB SATA DVDRW Drive
CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ CPU Cooler
ASUS Xonar DG
Razer Lycosa keyboard
Razer Deathadder v2

My budget was 1,700. Managed to get all this for 1,650. Have I made the right / decent choices? I've never built a PC before. Should I invest in a SSD card in the future? How well can I expect this to run?

MSI GTX 570 Twin Frozr III PE/OC - Get an asus or EVGA
Intel Core i5 2500K - GOOD CHOICE
ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 Motherboard - Garbage, Get the z68 chipset from either (gigabyte, asus)
G.Skill Ripjaws F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 - Get some corsair vengence 8gb c9
Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB HD103SJ - GREAT HDD, maybe opt for a faster hitachi
Antec Nine Hundred Case - bit flimsy, but i guess its personal choice. if MYSELF were to invest in a new case i would opt for the corsair carbide 500r
OCZ Fatal1ty Series 750W Modular - Swap out for a silverstone strider, corsair or antec
Samsung SH-222AB SATA DVDRW Drive - a drive is a drive right?
CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ CPU Cooler - Great cooler for the money you pay
ASUS Xonar DG - its good i guess, but would swap for the STX version
Razer Lycosa keyboard - Mechanical/FILCO or gtfo
Razer Deathadder v2 - good

I would stay away from the lycosa purely because it has one of the highest malfunctioning rates out of all keyboards.

What would you rather - pretty things, or performance?

protip: if you answer aesthetics you're a wimp and an idiot.

hmm samsung hdd? I've heard the reliability of those are quite average.. I usually stick with seagate, still using some hdds in my pc that are like 3-4 years old and they're still fine.. we also have some other seagates from like 2002 and they're still in good condition (IDE ones lol).. If u want to, u could get a WD sata 3 hdd intead.

Now with the graphics card.. I suggest u go with another brand, Gainward have questionable reliability with their products too.. the other parts looks fine
