Malice v Effectz
Effectz take on the giants Malice, Malice will definitely be on a high after picking up a very close win over Taunted: Beyond. Malice really did take it up a notch, this could be the beginning of something good for the MLC boys who haven't really done as well as they hoped. While Effectz got the win over Bullfrogs they too will have positive energy coming into this match. Effectz are active which is good to see always looking for scrims so they do put the effort in and if Malice do the same we will have a fantastic game.

A little different today with someone from the community's view on this p2p

Today I interviewed Flukkz for his view on the p2p.


What did you expect to see from the teams in this P2P?

I expected for this P2P for everyone to get quite excited, as the love for Black Ops really does not exist. I thought certain aspects would be hard to re adjust to like going back to half health, but most team managed to adjust back to it with ease. I looked forward to seeing how the players who were not on CG when MW2 was around step up and try take it to some of the veterans of the site.
I also expected to see a lot of effort put in to this P2P as many people seem to still enjoy this game and were really looking forward to having the opportunity to play it competitively again. Commitment has been good from most teams with the MW2 PUGBOT getting a lot more people pugging and also good to see teams getting scrims for the tournament as well.


If you got the chance to play the final, which team would you like to come up against and why?

I think if it came down to my team verse another team in a grand final I would want it to be a good match so would like to face off against the best team in the competition. But with that aside the team that I would most like to play against would be Mindfreak, I would like to see what it would be like to go up against some of the most experienced players that PS3 has to offer. They always come out very strong and are always well prepared. Toppling them in a final is something that not many teams have managed to do and should be commended when done.
They were the team I was backing to take out the whole thing, and I believe they can still do it. But Chozen Few are very very strong and will not be an easy beat.


Favorite Team and Player in this P2P?

~Favorite Team
My favorite team of this tournament would have to be Effectz, they always seem to be hanging around the top of everything that they enter, they have a well constructed team and have vast amounts of team chemistry. I would say who I though the top players in the team are but I believe their success is more to do with the fact that each player compliments the other players well in the team making them quite a hard unit to crack.
Their pushing I believe is their string point and when they get the momentum they desire then they just raise their own level and get even harder to beat.

~Favorite Player
Favorite player of this tournament would be Benjos, he has played very well for his team and has been consistent in playing well, did some good work in 3rd on Quarry transitioning really well between the bombs. Also pushed very well on attack on both Quarry and Karachi.


In the scenario that you won the money, what would you invest your winnings in?

Would buy Krazzoh his own Xbox so he would not need to borrow my one anymore.
If not that I would probably just put it in the bank to help pay for car.


Lastly your prediction of the winner this final? MVP and score?

This one I believe will either be a close one if Malice can get organized and get there top players on but if not I think Effectz will blow them over. Key players will be Hashey, Fake, Nxkd, Frisk and Mozt.
Both teams have the strength to push forward but in the end I believe that Effectz will just be to strong and take the match 4 - 1.
Overall match MVP I think will be Hashey.
