yeah i'll get forza but i'm expecting it to be the same as any arcade racer where you smash it out, get some achievements & move on. gt5 is constant, always going back to that game for one reason or another amidst all the other racers.
as for forza having better physics than gt5 i'm yet to see it. have you played forza 4 &/or gt5 to make that comparison & statement ?
i've played gt5 & the physics feel very real until you get in a spec V, but those cars are 'unreal' in real life so that's to be expected. i've also got shift 2 which claimed better physics yadda yadda yadda & it failed miserably as it is of course an arcade racer. forza will 'most likely' be the same as shift 2 as both have their roots firmly set in the arcade racing department which appeals to the kiddy racers (ie. the xbox demographic). whereas gran turismo has & always will be about simulation first, with everything else second (hence why in many cases its graphics seem dated & poor as it's a compromise they've made).
i guess games like forza & shift can make the claim of 'greater realism' as i often found at times the pure immersion of shift 2 was far beyond anything of gt5. that's not based on physics, but the overall experience with sparks, blur, accident damage etc which gt5 is really lacking in.
