Its because it ruins the in-game economy not because they cant make money off it. Ever wondered why AH takes a cut of the money made from selling an item or why you have repairs? To take money out of the game. If there is too much money coming into the game and not enough going out it drives the price of everything down. Just like real life.

so many people will buy them that they will be worth nothing just like argent tournament pets after about a week they were as cheap as chips same thing will happen only difference you have to buy this pet with real money.

i agree gold seller will always be there, these pets won't cut it even if there are more type coming out people are only going to spend so much money plus if its not worth the gold they won't be sold, they will be either kept or not bought at all

I'm very curious to see what actually happens with these pets, how fast the market gets flooded, and if everyone's predictions will be true. I never really thought about the WoW economy, it's surprisingly complex.
