With Modern Warfare 3 on the horizon, teams are in the final stages of preparation for the transition between Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3. Alas, ACL is here to make it as smooth as possible offering the closest form of Modern Warfare 3 game play that we can shy of the original itself. How will we accomplish this? We're going Back to the Future!

With Modern Warfare 3 being the Future, we have decided to go Back to basics and hold a Free to Play, Modern Warfare 2 4v4 competition bringing back all sorts of nostalgic moments. It will be a fun filled event open to anybody and everybody up for a good time!

Tournament Structure:
The Back to the Future Modern Warfare 2 event will be a double elimination tournament with pool play thrown in the mix to ensure players get a decent amount of games in before being eliminated. Pool play will run over 1-2 days with the double elimination bracket also running for 1-2 days depending on how quickly teams can play their matches.

Registration:
To Register, click HERE. Once registered, you will be placed into a Pool

You must fill out ALL boxes and specify who is captain and remember if you ever need to change your registration details you can go back to the form and just change the details - your previous information will be there for you to change!

Dates and Times:
All times listed are in AEDT
Sunday 30th October: Cut off date for Registration.
Friday 4th November: Pool Play commences at 7PM AEDT sharp.
Saturday 5th November: Finish off final rounds of Pool Play then start first two rounds of Double Elimination commencing at 1:00PM AEDT sharp.
Sunday 6th November: The Double Elimination tournament commences at 1:00PM AEDT sharp.

Indeed.. Stops people from complaining about lengthy tournaments. The sooner you get through your matches, the sooner you can go party ! Halo seems to do this flawlessly and the time could not be more opportune to see if the CoD community can conform.
