QLPrism Features
Uses your existing Quake Live plug-in installation.
There's no need to change or re-install Quake Live if you have previously installed the Quake Live plugin for Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. If you previously played only in Internet Explorer then QLPrism will quickly download the Firefox version of the plugin from id Software's site. Your game data will not be touched. Don't like QLPrism? Uninstall it and go back to your browser without re-installing QL!

Lightweight and fast
QLPrism is configured to only run Quake Live. It is not a web browser. That means no tabs, toolbars, or other extra browser-related stuff to slow you down. There is not even a URL bar. Overall, this may lead to smoother in-game performance on your system.

No additional browser required.
No need to have a separate browser running to play Quake Live!

Built-in fully featured IRC Client.
QLPrism is equipped with a built in IRC client. Quickly connect to QuakeNet, GameSurge or any other IRC server in seconds to chat with others. No need to install mIRC or any other clients. Everything you need for competitive Quake is in one package!

Built-in Demo Player with Playlist Support.
QLPrism features peolan's Quake Live Demo Player, which includes a demo GUI on the Quake Live website itself. This GUI helps you play back your demo files. It lets you create demo playlists, filter demos by type, players, maps and/or date and time, among other features.

Built-in Anti-Idle
With QLPrism you will not be logged off from the QL site for inactivity. Always stay logged in, even when AFK for more than 30 minutes!

Ability to manually input "QL join" URLs.
QLPrism allows you to copy & paste or manually enter URLs for Quake Live games. A vanilla installation of Prism does not support this by default. This is very useful for pickup games or links shared by friends!

Extended Statistics
QLPrism displays a few additional match statistics, including net frags, net damage, gauntlet frags)

Friend List Status
QLPrism shows the status and type of server (CTF, TDM, etc.) your friends are playing on from your friend's list, without having to hover over their name.

QLRanks.com Integration
QLPrism is integrated with the new QL Ranking site QLRanks.com.

Quake Live New Alt Browser pre-installed.
QLPrism comes pre-installed with this very popular minimalistic server browser script by wn. Quickly find and filter games without sorting through annoying map screenshots.

Greasemonkey Script Support.
QLPrism supports any additional Greasemonkey user scripts you may wish to install later.

I like the changes it makes in the server browser and the new ratings etc.

My only complaint is that it seems to have an even more buggy alt tab compared to using the browser.

why alt tab in fullscreen mode just press esc than click "play in browser" than you're free to do anything.

I alt+enter and then alt+tab to do whatever I want to do.

alt+enter is the same as play in browser.

I've done it a couple times in this prism and the mouse moves but clicking does nothing. So i can't open up anything else or even click in game it wont let me.
