Hi there.

The current format of the Premier League entails a draw of 10 rounds of competitive Enemy Territory gaming.
At the end of the 10 rounds, the team with the highest points (and if required, rounds won) will win the league.
Whereas this requires teams to be consitant over the course of the competition, it generally provides no extra interest.

By including a final, it provides a platform for things to happen, specifically extra-ordinary things that dont usually occur in Australian ET. Essentially, grandstand finals is where big plays go down, e.g. haste smashing everyone on et_ice, HANZ smashing mo* on goldrush etc.
What I am talking about can also be seen in this video - MIDAS IS GAY

So i propose that at the end of the 10 rounds, there is one final, between the two highest ranked teams.
Maybe Ej can get his shoutcasting gloves back on and we can make a game out of it.

If you agree or disagree for whatever reason post it below.

i disagree because the game is too random to let 3 maps decide.

Nope sorry format was decided a while ago and you had plenty of time to input ideas etc then.

Every game counts and has equal importance, you can't fumble your way through the league season then pull out one decent performance to win the league (like you can with finals).

I'm sure xFx would dislike going unbeaten in the regular season only to be beaten in the finals and go home empty handed, again.

Format for a 3on3 competition and state of origin competition was available for input aswell.
When can we expect these?

Why is it such a problem to change it now?

Are you serious? I posted the format ages ago before making the draw. No one complained then and only now do you complain because you have come to realise xFx are better prepared than your team and likely to go undefeated in the current league format.

I like the formatt it's different and the second round of matches is like finals anyway with teams securing their spots and having to win you're next match to have a chance in can generate big hype and game upsets the same and finals !

What happens in the event of a tie ? One decider match between the two teams ?

If two teams have the same amount of rounds (or map wins) for and against once all matches are played then dongo will have his "grand final".
