CyberGamer V8 Supercar Opening Event



Hey CG'ers...!
I am here to announce the first Forza Motorsport 4 event for Cybergamer, this event will be run by Vizzn,Oh Trixxy, Dirty au, and myself and the Forza Admin team.
This event will be commentated and live streamed by Vizzn and Dirty au, with the possibility of one more person.
Below is all the details of the event and how to enter. This is a special event before the ladders come live!

How to enter:

We will be holding 3 qualifying events prior to Race Day; the top 10 drivers will race in the event, dates and times are listed below.
During the qualifying time period, you may message L L BeNNyBaLLs, VizzN, or Ohh Trixxyz, and we will invite you into the session.

Date and Time:

Qualifying will be held from 7PM – 9PM tonight (Friday 21st) and tomorrow from 2PM – 4PM and 6PM – 8PM (Saturday 22nd).
There will be no exceptions to qualifying, if you are not there at one of the set times, you will not be eligible to compete.
Once you have set a time, and it has been confirmed by an Admin or event manager, you are fine to leave, so you do not have to stay the whole 2 hours.
Race Day will be on Tuesday 25th starting at 6PM, and will finish hopefully by 8PM if everything runs smoothly.
Please make sure you allow for this 2 hour time frame, as anyone that decides to leave during this time, will suffer consequences depending on the situation.
People who do not show up for this time will be eliminated from the race and a substitute driver will take their position in the starting grid, as well as suffering other consequences.

Tournament System:

The tournament will be set out on a particular track (See Below) and will consist of 5 Holden V8's and 5 Ford V8's, this thread will be updated with who is driving what car after the last qualifying session has finished. The race will consist of a mammoth 35 laps on a large track so this race will be down to pure endurance and skill.
This is why we are asking you to be prepared for a good few hours of competitive racing. Any misconduct during the race will result in harsh consequences and a black flag to the driver causing trouble.


Safety Car:

We will be having a Safety Car driver, which is still to be announced, the Safety Car will be deployed when there is a major crash, and will be used to pull the field back together. Major crashes will be policed by 2 in-game referees, once a crash has happened, The safety car will be called immediately, there is to be no over-taking during a safety car period, and on the out lap of the safety car, no driver can pass until the 1st place driver has crossed the line.

Prizes:

The ultimate prize will be bragging rights, however we have decided on some small prizes

1st Place: 3000 Microsoft points + Current Cybergamer V8 supercar champion, shown on ladder page.
2nd Place: 1500 Microsoft points
3rd Place: 1 month Xbox Live membership
