But people who DDOS , even when you change your IP by static or refreshing your modem, the DDOS'er can still kick you offline by your old IP unless you like pay money to the internet provider to get you a whole nother network or something. Thats why if you get IP banned on the site you cant just refresh your IP and expect to be unbanned, they work the same. So if they have your IP your screwed unless you switch internet providers or pay your provider. So your pretty much ****ed.
yeah but i believe instead of ip banning they should just ban the actual account so its disabled for the amount of days
then they just make a new account..
or just ban the pc reregistration key they used to log into cg , its like console banning on xbox .
That's called MAC banning, CG can't MAC ban you and so can't any
website. Xbox and other gaming systems work differently.
so IP doesn't Work
Order allow, deny
Deny from 192.168.0.10
Deny from 212.155.
Deny from 1.2.3.4 5.6.7.8 127.0.0.1
Allow from all
or you could just try a bypasser , once they get ip banned on there account , every time they log onto the website cybergamer they will just re directed to a different url, basically like a cookie, but i haven't found a way that it will work , maybe if they get a message in there email, and when they open the link there infected , or just finding ways so you can target the specific person
CODE:
PHP Code:
if (stristr($HTTP_REFERER,"example.com"

) {
setcookie("noaccess",1,time()+3600,"/"

;
exit;
}
if ($HTTP_COOKIE_VARS['noaccess']) {
exit;
}
