Not an ipod fanboy... got a galaxy s with all the hacked audio stuff so its much better source than an ipod either way and I bought a Fiio E6 amp for it :p heard they are great lol.

You cannot bypass the DAC inside a galaxy.

So why are you wanting to use an e6 after it has already been processed by the phones amp.

If you are going to be double amping then set the galaxys volume to as high as it goes without clipping, then control it with the e6, this will get you as close to line-out SQ as possible.

You wont get a huge boost in SQ, maybe slight but mainly it will be a placebo effect.

I haven't personally tested that combo so maybe it will defy all principals of amplification and actually give you a massive soundscape never heard before on a pair of $200 IEMS.

What are you using them for? Get monsters.

Just pick one, note that some need proper amplification, not an E6.

GR02's are good. Except build quality is shit, have had 2 different pairs both have broken

Ive had the R02Pro2 (older version) for around 12 months, no problems at all :/

I don't use them every day though.
