With BF3 finally released and a lot of people thinking about upgrading their comps/GPU, what kind of FPS are people getting in-game?

Is ultra as GPU hungry as it was made out to be? Are people noticing huge differences in FPS from Beta?

I'll start us off.

CPU: i7 2600 @ 3.4ghz
GPU: Sapphire HD6970 BC2 Vietnam Edition
RAM: 16gb DDR3 1333Mhz
Mobo: Intel DP67BA
In-game FPS: 30-120 depending on map
In-game resolution: 1920x1080
In-game settings: Medium

Please follow the above template as best you can and keep discussion limitted. This thread is only about getting information out there to the people whom are thinking of upgrading and to compare system performance.

CPU: AMD 1055 T 3.4ghz
GPU: GTX 470
RAM: 8gb DDR3 800mhz
MB: Asus m4a78-pro
In-game FPS: 60-85
In-game resolution: 1920x1080
In-game settings: LOW, very playable at that, I really don't think it requires the same amount of constant FPS as what say cs 1.6 or css would.

CPU : i7 920 at stock 2.66 ghz
GPU : SApphire vapor-x 5870 at core 875mhz and mem at 5000 mhz
Mobo : gigabyte x58 ud3r 1.6
Ram : 6 gb pc12800 (ddr 1600)

In-game FPS : Between 60-100
In-game resolution : 1920x1080

in-game settings :

Texture : High
Shadow : High
Effects : High
Mesh : High
Terrain : High
Terrain Dec : High

AA Def : Off
AA Post : High
Motion Blur : Off
AF : 16x
Occlusion : Off

I can set the first 6 settings to ultra and still get 50-80 fps. AA def always eats up the fps levels and AA post does a better job without eating up the fps levels. Motion blur is just gay so I turned it off, AF at 16x makes the game look very very crisp. Occlusion at any setting apart from Off eats up the fps levels

Also the difference between the medium/high/ultra settings for the top 6 can't be noticed when your playing the game but low just looks yuck. Just start with medium play a few games and push those 6 higher if your pc can handle it otherwise the game looks very good on medium, and make sure that you leave the bottom 5 settings the same as mine and then any mid range to high end gpu will run the game smoothly.

Also the game doesn't need occlusion as it already looks sexy. but if your gpu can handle it go for it.

EDIT : I've heard that the day one patch should have some cpu optimizations in it so I'll test again this weekend with my cpu at 4ghz

Huge difference between LOW and MED but nothing much between MED HIGH and ULTRA. Just a few tiny things that you won't even notice in a firefight

CPU: i7 2600K @ 3.4ghz
GPU: 2 x 2GB Sapphire HD6950 Dirt3 Edition (Crossifre), standard clocks/shaders
RAM: 8gb DDR3 1600Mhz
Mobo: Gigabyte Z68X UD5
In-game FPS: 60-90 (Caspian/Firestorm 64p CQ)
In-game resolution: 1920x1080
In-game settings: All Ultra, Vsync Off, AA 2x, AF 4x, Shadows Medium

Testing some other settings,120+ Bazaar 64p @ all medium.

Getting some annoying lag though, I'll blame the servers. The FPS doesnt drop while I lag >_>
