'teams' need roster caps, 'clans' will often not compete if there's a roster cap.

FV have 17 on our roster, CG's rosters don't allow for 17 so we have no roster here.

Clans can compete here and have before.

Make 2 teams gives you a lot of advantages over other teams you can scrim against yourselves if you have enough on, you can manage players on activity and performance between the 2 teams to make sure you have the 2 most competitive teams possible.

Then if both teams make leagues you can pool the money if you win and have a more even split.

Player caps on the teams are there so that there are as many teams as possible competing on the ladders.

Also 10's plenty enough for 1 team you should be able to get half your roster on to compete.

i didn't say all clans.

as a clan we won't be forming multiple teams within our group nor denying some members from comp due to them not fitting on some roster due to limits which show no respect or regard for whether that person is or isn't an actual member of the clan.

from experience we've found that multiple teams in a single clan only leads to fighting & eventual breakdown of the clan. we've been about for over 2 years & have competed in hundreds of clan wars in that time across multiple games & still have almost every member that's ever joined & have never had an in-house fight & have no intention of creating any.

as i said earlier many clans won't compete when they can't include their entire roster, FV is one such example.

just looking at the ladders i don't wanna come off as sounding critical but it seems you guys have a false economy when it comes to this 'smaller rosters equals more teams'.

sure you guys have over 100 teams but of those teams even the most active teams don't play 10 matches (looking at your main BO ladders) & the overwhelming majority of those teams are inactive with 3 or less matches.

in contrast if you had larger rosters you'd certainly have less teams but odds are those teams would be more active. looking elsewhere active teams have over a dozen matches but there's only a third of the registered teams.

i registered my clan, elite unit on cg about 2 weeks ago, theres about 3 members that had to miss out on playin due to the roster size
