I swear, in every war game made by Americans, you see some ruined flag around every corner. Say you just beat a campaign. You have to stare at a huge USA flag and also their military vehicles for like a minute. Do they not know that other countries have people who play the game? I am honestly sick of it. There are so many examples of nationalistic symbolism everywhere, and I honestly don't give a **** about USA and their "military might". Its in movies also.

90% of games are set in the US, so ofcourse your going to see the US flags...

your just making a fuss over one minor point.
there is multiple flags in cod games, german/russian and what ever else courty you end up playing in on the game.

same goes for other games/movies.

Its not just games. It is everywhere. Of course, its only a minor thing in our life, but we are Australian, not American, and seeing so much symbolism or just plane flags everywhere is annoying.



No political-related thread on Cybergamer is going to make a difference, but they are still posted. The thread isnt a rally to riot against USA, but just a place to discuss the sheer amount of American patriotism and nationalism in this world, even outside of USA.

American Company makes a game marketed firstly at american audiences yet released world wide. I don't see how it really effects you, if you're so annoyed at it, don't buy the game.

wearing national colours, national sporting team outfits, logos, etc and things like this are exactly the same.
