Hey all, i recently decided to make the switch from legacy defending to tactical as i started playing ultimate team, i have to say i'm beyond bad at defending with the new system, if anyone has any tips they be much appreciated as at the moment i'm on struggle street and am sick of being beaten by players i could absolutely roll if legacy was an option on UT. cheers

You can't just run at them anymore.

I find it best to use the Left trigger and hover infront of them, take the opitunity to get the ball if you see it but don't panic and run in I find.

Also if you are playing ultimate team get some quick defenders like Dani Alves because its a lot easy to do this with a fast player incase they get around lol

A + LT. Hold them off until they get close or sprInt the move In for the tackle

ThPugh at first o found it easier to just rb and let the ai contain and just use my controlled player for intercepts.

Ps typed from iPhone ignore shit text

I'm only just getting used to it, just use A+LT like Marsh said. Makes it easier.
