Clans and Tournaments Update for Brink
In a surprising move, Bethesda are still supporting Brink and are about to release some new content. It is basically a new website to support creation of teams/clans and allow scheduling of matches for a global ladder/team ranking system. There will also be some other game updates (details yet to be released).
I know neg was extremely excited by this news and i'm sure everyone else will be too!

Weapon Tweaks
Global
- Reduced spread on most weapons by 15% on average (except when knocked/downed)
- Reduced damage on most weapons by 5% on average
- Ironsighting is now slightly more accurate across the board
- Stationary/crouched is slightly more accurate across the board
Pistols
- Reduced recoil/kick on Revolvers
- Reduced kick on Tokmak
- Reduced spread further on Kalt
SMGs
- Increased spread rate on Galactic
ARs
- Reduced spread rate on Gerund
- Improved accuracy on Rokstedi
- Increased recoil on Rokstedi
- Increased spread recovery rate on FRKN-3K
Shotguns
- Reduced spread and damage further on the Shotguns
HMGs
- Reduced recoil/kick on Maximus

Sadly there are still problems existing in that game to be useful for competetive gaming:
- UI is still huge and annoying (can't see the enemy because of markers like the revive symbol).
- still no first person spectator view
- the action button that is needed for everything still doesn't feel responsive enough
- not enough modding capabilities/sdk (-> no pro mod)
- dead public servers are more dead than ET servers
