Hey, when i booted up my pc i noticed that a red light was being emitted from the motherboard. I figure its a warning light of some sort? ive never seen this before, although i may have previously missed it as the side which the light emits from is up against a wall and today i had moved it to clean it.
There are actually two lights, a red one (next to my RAM) and an orange one (underneath my RAM). I noticed that one of my RAM sticks was not clicked in properly, so i adjusted it accordingly but i still get the same light that pops up. it lasts for about 10 seconds, and when windows starts to load and go towards the user selection screen the red light disappears. I tried restarting instead of shutting down and turning on again, and the red light disappeared but the orange one remained.
If anyone knows what the problem is that would be helpful, just so i can get it off my chest, Thanks.

I attached 2 pictures. (The blue lights are just from my case, they are fine).
Case: Antec 1200 Mobo: Gigabyte X58A-UD3R LGA1366

I've always wondered what it was myself... I've had it happen on every mobo I've had, nothing to worry about usually... I'd like to find out what it is.

prob psu phase LED's, nothing to worry about. check your mobo's manual and it will tell you what they mean.

Or it might just be letting you know the memory isn't in the same channel.
