FPS Lag In Game

So last few days i have been getting unplayable fps lag in game. But it only happens in hon. Got default settings reduced everything to low but no chnage at all. Anyone had this problem before?

I believe the second last patch optimised more in game environment rendering over distance.

I have no trouble running games which are more resource hungry than hon.

Yea that system should be fine to handle it so it gets rid of that theory.

I did a quick search of the HoN forums and there hasn't seemed to be a popular technical issue in the last couple of days.

Might sound painful, but best bet would be to uninstall and reinstall :<

switch to openGL mode instead of Direct

Been having the same issue, and that fixed it for me.

also if you used win95 settings to patch the game, need to remember to turn it back. if you're using a screen size that isnt compatible with win95 it just gets raped

had horrible lag yesterday, dropping the textures/reso seems to fix it ... I would still like to have highest possible graphics with no lag like usual....

Especially with my specs:

i7 950 - 3.07GHz

2 x GTX 580 (in SLi)

6GB DDR3 RAM
