Hey guys, Ive got a bit of an issue with my monitor. When I turn my pc on, the monitor will not pick up any signal from my pc. I had this issue with my main monitor when the monitor would show the display in the bios and loading windows screen, but as soon as it had fully loaded the operating system, the display would just go black. So i stopped using my main monitor and started using my shitty 17inch rand monitor. All was good with the shitty 17inch until this morning. I turned on my pc and got no signal from my pc to the monitor, so i tried plugging it in directly to the motherboard and it worked fine. I had some updates to do on my pc this morning, so i did them, then i had to restart. When my pc rebooted itself the shitty 17inch was getting no signal at all, no matter where it was plugged in.

Have googled my problem but nothing has worked. Was wondering if anyone could suggest something :/
Cheers in advance xo

Note: Im writing this from my laptop -___-

Perhaps a cable issue?

The gfx card isn't the issue cause he tried onboard. At least I'd think it wouldn't be :/

Rather than the cable being in the wrong spot, I meant is the cable itself damaged.

Haha, go to nearest PC store, pick up new cables, test.

if not the problem, could be either ****ed monitor, or ****ed motherboard. My guesses are now done.

I'm actually going to punch you in the face one day. Now run along and try a new cable. Then once you realise the only reason it worked on the mobo is because the cord twisted the right way to work, come back and say "I'm a dumb ass and am now changing my name to Dumbartzz"

If not, then replace the whole PC. It's the only way.
