Good old Gran Turismo has come along way since its first child, Gran Turismo "The Real Driving Simulator", on the legendary Playstation 1.
With the release of GT5 expected and announced to be March 2009, I am eagerly awaiting the release, as are the PS3 community.
For those who live under a rock, here is the official website of GT5.
I have been playing FPS games for a few years now, focusing my gaming on BF2 and CoD.
However Now I am looking to play competitively on something slightly new, and my love of the GT series still burns as a small neglected flame within.
As the PS3 community plead for a PS3 ladder on CyberGamer, I am taking this moment to throw forth a proposal for the community and admins alike.
If CyberGamer are to allow a ladder system for the titles released on the Playstation 3 console, I would recommend to implement this promising upcoming title into the competitive realm that is CyberGamer.
With the induction of Nascar, World Rally Championships and a decent drift scene featuring in the release, there are numerous avenues (or shall we say racetracks) to explore, all pointing to successful ladders.
All I am asking as of now, is some community opinion, and for those who are intellectual enough, some constructive criticism.
As a PS3 owner, would you compete in a Team/Single-Driver ladder for the upcoming GT5?
Do you believe that CyberGamer would benefit from having such ladders?
Why and why not?
So revolve this discussion around the implementation of GT5 to CyberGamer, rather than the dead horse that is the implementation of PS3, or the argument of XBOX and PS3 Supremacy.
As a huge fan of the GT series myself, i would have to say that implementing a whole PS3 section for this one game wouldnt work out too well, especially with Forza 3 coming out, Forza 3 will be bigger than GT5 and it's on the XBOX 360 console.
