So according to that podcast, they're (well Daniel Matros anyway) saying "right now we're looking at ways it (private servers for console) could be implemented, not saying that it's gonna be implemented..." (around the 1:28:30 mark).

Makes me think it's highly unlikely.

Its pretty crazy.....its 2011 and they've had them in previous titles. They did tell MLG to sit tight - JipD mentioned private servers are coming from an inside tip - so....its just how they are delivered that is of importance to everyone. People are losing interest daily...

Well if they want the game to last 3 years then they will need private servers since map packs aren't going to do it alone. If they eventually choose not to then it would be a horrible decision for this game.

Agreed. My hope keeps going back to the virgin tourney.. if that comes and goes with no private servers then my heart will break.. so will my BF3 discs... haha
