Here is a small snippet of the conversation I had with an Optus tech support just now.

Me: Hi, I am having trouble accessing some websites
Him: Ok, what happens when you try and connect?
Me: The page says that the website can not be reached. I have ran a tracert to these websites, and found that the result times out after some IP's. I am wondering if there is any known routing issues?
Him: Oh ok. We can look into this for you. May I have some of the websites that you are trying to connect to.
Me: Sure. The first one is na.leagueoflegends.com, another is store.steampowered.com
Him: Ok. Are you making sure you put www at the front of these addresses when typing them in?
Me: Uhh .. you dont need to.
Him: Oh, thats strange. I havent seen that before.

I. I just ... I just dont even. How the flying hell can people like this get a job in IT, yet I cant. Zzzzzz

CANCEL OUT OBVIOUS DUMB THINGS

ive done tech work before and nearly 40% of jobs are seriously shit like that

but the whole WWW thing is a grey area some need it some dont some dont even have it in the web address
