Yo,
So i used my PC fine last night, shut it down properly etc.. Come home from work today and its not getting any power at all ? No lights on the mobo or anything, and when i push to turn it on .. nothing.

Have tried resetting the battery, different power points, cables etc.. Dont think its a power surge as its 1 of 4 on a power board, with my monitor, a laptop and spare point. Everything else is still fine.

Any ideas ?

reset cmos, eg take battery out

check power cord just incase.


also have you checked if all the cords on the mobo properly connected?

This is the battery on the mobo ? If so, done that.

Its not a power cord problem, check it with dif cords, dif points etc..

My pc did the exact same got it back today apparently due to Perth heat and humidity the motherboard ****ed itself.!

check the cable to your PSU or try using a different PSU if you have one, make sure the switch on the back of the PSU is turned on

24 pin cord? and maybe 4 pin one.

Its not a CPU problem, im thinking PSU or Mobo

prob one of these then

got another PSU u can chuck in?

I only bought the pc 2 months ago, it will be a factory warranty job i believe

I just meant as a test so you know which bit to send back
