Blizzard's senior VP and co-founder, Frank Pearce, has confirmed that the developer is currently working on a new MMO, called Project Titan.

Blizzard has been working on a new MMO that has been rumoured and let slip a few times over the last few years, but this official confirmation arrives shortly after an alleged leaked roadmap for the company. The documents laid out projected release dates for Blizzard over the next few years, with Project Titan listed as a 2013 release.

'Titan is... the media is not meant to know anything about that.' Pearce told Destructoid.

'It's our next-gen MMO and we've only started talking about it in a limited fashion because we want to leverage the fact that we're working on something like that for the purpose of recruiting – getting some of the best talent in the industry on that.'

"We're very confident in "Titan". It's an awesome one," Paul Sams said. "We're playing it already. It's a total ball to play. We think that the reach of that product is greater than anything that we've done before. We're very excited about that," he added. "I believe that it's the type of game that will have a very long life, much like World of Warcraft has."
