My computer has been screwing up for the last few days, but today it's completely screwed up.
I turn it on and my keyboard/computer fan lights up, but there is no display and 1 touch of the power button will turn it off (instead of a hold)

Would anyone happen to know what components I will need to replace to fix this?

My advice:

Do you have another computer to test parts in? I.e CPU, mobo, fgx card. Just trial and error until you find the fault part(s).

Im upgrading parts (hopefully tomorrow) but I have to decide either upgrading GPU/mobo, or if I find out my CPU is screwed, then CPU/mobo.

So im tied up as to what to get, because I really am in need of a new GPU.

Well I have two decisions:
Upgrade GPU, PSU, mobo, RAM
or Upgrade CPU, PSU mobo RAM

Btw right now I'm running a 5770 and a phenom 945
GPU Upgrade: 6950
CPU Upgrade i5 2500k/2600k

A message to everyone like this: stop with the 'omg karma lol' posts in every hardware thread; believe it or not it's actually not giving him a good name and I'm sure he's not appreciating it as much as you'd think

run a live linux cd and see if you can boot from it.

Ubuntu works well. If you can run a live cd then the problem could be hdd based.

does it post at all?

There is no display what-so-ever.
And It shouldn't be a Hard Drive issue, if it were, the BIOS would atleast tell me there is no primary boot device.
Definately a mobo/CPU problem, but I really need to know which it is :\

Test your CPU in a spare or friends computer.
