Like fighters, racing or sports games I just don't play RTS or even Turn based strategy games much anymore.

I always preferred the turn based over RTS anyways - games like Warlords, Might & Magic and DaiSenryaku VII I preferred over the Warcraft & C&C's. I dunno I always felt using your turn to its best, choosing which units to build then group, the cost of movement and how you used it was always more fun/rewarding than how fast you can build and so forth.

In RTS I'd always stuff up and leave a bloody expensive group to build i.e group of mages/sourcerors etc out on their own or some crap that would get annihilated and really annoyed me. Plus I just felt I never had proper control of setting up my formations so you'd just mass group your units as it was easier but again you'd have the wrong units going in against the wrong enemy units....
