Only problem with them not moving is that I have to take my sniper rifle and run half the map to plant the objective because no one wants to do it. So many times have I lost games due to there only being 1 kill ticket and someone planting the objective.

Yeah you're talking about the average COD player - fact is most of them around here are pretty damn good and could make the transition if they wanted too - I can only hope and if not this gen console then hopefully the next will see even more Aussies & Kiwi's rumble on the battlefield - but not worth me wasting there time with no private servers.

They have good work ethics as far as scrimming and stratting and that's what makes their teamwork good - outside of that there are many natural gamers playing COD because of its competitive elements that Aussie BF could benefit from

You gotta understand BF takes a lot to get used to - even though you can one man army its less likely to happen when playing solo in this game by comparison a good team, heck a good squad or even just one bloody good pilot or tanker can sure mess you up without help taking them down

Because of the scale of BF the natural reaction is to take out a sniper rifle when you're new to the game - I was such a noob I crawled a massive bloody bridge on my belly when I first started off on BF2MC saw a jeep pull up at a flag saw 3 dudes bail out missed all my shots, drew attention to myself and then got smashed post haste

There's something strange about BF, im pretty sure its the map size/scale that snipers actually get called snipers, not campers as such. In COD anyone sitting still in a corner is a camper - in BF it happens when people are taking flags, or just happens in general except it doesn't have the same connotations/relationship as it does in COD.....they're still camping, but don't get called campers.

The closest you'll get is a term used "camp-sniper" - as opposed to Aggressive Recon or whatever - they are generally bush wookies (another term thrown about) who sit on top of a hill all game outside a flag etc - these snipers are the best for taking a bunch of guys with ya in a jeep around the map, sneaking up on them and then putting down a shit load of mines, sending them a msg thru XBL - "BOOOOM!!!" or something like that and then detonating.....half the fun is not getting caught, always makes for good laughs when ya with a group of lads

Well generally a camper in battlefield is one who sits near an enemy objective but refuses to capture the objective. I wouldn't really say camping is from a certain game, it's just that it's a coward style of play that a lot of people have developed. In COD it might help due to the small maps which mean you will see more enemies in your view but camping in battlefield makes you a useless player to the team due to the large maps and objective focus. This is one of the reasons there has been a lot of PTFO videos going around for battlefield. Plus your going to get bored camping since you will get less action.

Im saying the relationship with "frrkn camper" etc doesn't get thrown about like it does in COD - think about it....how often do you hear it by comparison? It generally happens more often when describing a team-mate than an enemy as in "ahhh my dudes are just sitting back camping, no ones playing the objective" - the only real time you hear it about an enemy is in relationship with an object or location in the game - "dude with a shotty camping the stairs" - so what im saying is in overall terms there is something to do with the map size/scale and style of play that makes the term "camper" in BF different
