Is it really necessary to allow semi-nude and/or sexually implicit animated gifs as forum avatars on CG?
I like to read through these forums while at work, and allowing these kids to have partially nude or sexually suggestive avatars is a real turn off and for a community that is trying to shy away from societies image as all gamers being immature dickheads, you're not setting a very good example.
In Cybergamer's own terms of service you say require that "Your submitted content is not illegal,
indecent, profane..."
Additionally, when uploading an avatar people are warned "Uploading inappropriate avatars will see your avatar rights revoked"
Who defines what is and isn't indecent/inappropriate? I'd honestly like to know.
Please note that I have no problem with specifically sated "NSFW" threads, however when I'm reading an ordinary thread I'm getting sick of seeing the following avatars that are simply inappropriate to be viewing on a work computer.
Few examples I found from a single thread.
Please keep the trolls away from this thread, as well as those who are going to say "Well don't read gaming forums while at work", it's my job to know what the gaming community is doing.
TL;DR Version:
Can someone do something about the influx of pre-pubescent kids uploading NSFW avatars on the forum.Edited once, 13/12/11 - 3:00pm.
