Shift clicking problem

Hi guys..


I'm having a issue were i cant Shift click (Hold shift and click - Click one item then click another one and it will highlight all of them in between including the first and last one)

First time i have had this problem, i cant do it any were on my pc but when i plug in external HDD in i can do it to stuff on there..

Any idea's how to fix

Try new mouse/keyboard - PC on & off if no fix, may have to googlies.
