Dear Qlimax & CoD4 Community,

This will be a long thread, but it addresses something I'm really ******* pissed off about - and I figured it might be interesting to some weird minority of bored people in the community.

The scene is set: CG-invite finals, round 1, team.dot vs. Qlimax Crew semi-final. Hype is created in a form of a cute interview thread. A total of two weeks have been given by CG for the match to be completed. Times are offered.

team.dot peruse the slim options given to them:
- Wednesday (1st week) 8pm or 9pm
- Thursday (1st week) 6pm or 7pm

Well, we can't make those time can we guys, motion has work on wednesdays, plus exams on thursday and friday (needing some time to cram) and snyper has WCG CS1.6 LAN practice on thursday. So let's see if we can get it moved to the second week.

Fair enough, then. Frame switches to motion to negotiate new times on the other 12 available days to play, since he has the most limiting time frame.

Wow, OK, hectic schedule those guys have. I guess the other grand final team will be hoping Qlimax win this round, as it will be impossible for them to scrim AT ALL for the next two weeks - no other nights are available. We'll just have to play it by the times we were offered, then. Thursday is an impossibility, so motion mans up and decides to dog work and a few hours of cram study - we'll play Wednesday!!! Everyone commits.

Neither. But, by the sounds of this, we're the ones having to make a double sacrifice now, and this is confirmed by Asterix. We protest, but our whinging skills are just not up to par to make a difference against the Mighty Qrymax Roar. At least Asterix (and us) told them to offer as many times as possible, right? Like, maybe more than two this time?

Tuesday (2nd week) 8pm or 9pm
Thursday (2nd week) 8pm or 9pm

HUH, didn't we AND Asterix both request they offer every day they could possibly make? As in A ******* LOT OF DAYS PLZ. So, in addition to the ONE day out of the original two they could play, a total of 3 days out of the two weeks given to the semi-final are offered, all on days impossibly inconvenient, AFTER we initially had the same request denied and moved our own lives and shit around, which just happened to backfire. Now we can't make the new ******* times either, after going out of our way to accommodate one of the originals.

Qlimax, how about you be the ones to man up for once, and play on our officially agreed time of 8pm this wednesday. Play while watching Origin, use a reserve, be the heroes - you were the ones who ****ed up your challenge times. When you beat us anyway, the glory of winning "against the odds" will shoot your already gigantic ******* egos up to such unparalleled heights, that you won't recover from the high for months.

Sigh.. Asterix approached buczy saying we had tonight to decide. We initially had it planned out.. the week earlier but since the times were changed for the finals we had to move into the next week which was bad due to... Ppl's commitments to mid year uni exams and study.. these people included theone, extacy, buczy. I dont have the exact dates but even those 2 days we gave u.. theone still had exams on both tueday,wednes and thursday, we had no choice at all to chose those dates. As for the Wednesday that was miraculously put there the night i wasnt on well that was pure mistake, reason we took it back. Also im pretty sure u excepted the match that night aswell so i dunno how work commitments were changed 11pm + that night.

Dude, Origin in QLD is a big event. we didnt dogg dot. Peoples perceptions are seriosuly ****ed. I did it in the right way.. got aster in vent spoke to tofu.. theres nothing to come from this... seriously

This is typical bitching. wazza has clearly stated he will work a fix into your available times. No matter what who are you to decide what time the match is! it is as much his right as it is yours.

gonna have to say i think a big BL should be given to QMX and the game played on the original date (wednesday). why should .dot get ****ed over at first with nothing done to help them and then when the boot is on the other foot QMX get it fixed up their way? its their own bad luck they messed up the times/ days, so because they ****ed up .dot get the ass end of the deal....

nixonx you have no clue at all... qmx gave up their right to change the date as soon as they entered the options the first time round. they shouldnt get a 'do-over', it shouldnt be how this works.

Im the only one on to defend for the team from whats being said on the forums, which should of been settle outside which it was.
