If you can squeeze yourself into a B2K (back to karkland) server - they play the maps over and over but are often hard to get into later in the day, then that's the best way to learn the maps.

As usual most of it depends on how many randoms you have and the quality of your randoms vs the oppositions randoms as to whether or not you get ya arse chewed up or not....if you have a good team they don't seem quite so daunting...

Yes in regards to some of the patch fixes its a little crazy like the c4 you mentioned and also the mines and yes most of the new weapons are OP - I actually bet the FAMAS in CQB a couple of times today I should put tattslotto on....
