@basic I wouldn't say they were worse than MSP's which I still think are ruining the game and giving bad teams an advantage they don't deserve
I really don't find them to be a hassle, anyone with a headset can hear them from a fair distance. I actually got 5 kills in like 10 seconds just by waiting on one.. Made my squad win SDM
Im talking about locations like on top of the large construction building on Gulf of Oman. Only way in is via choppa, you have height advantage and can pretty much watch that flag, have ya team-mates spawn there, get killed and respawn uncontested right next to the flag - having one up there pretty much allows that team to control the flag no matter how hard you try get it back. With the flag capture area significantly smaller and open its a massive advantage - and little reward for the team that takes them out from that location should they manage to do so as you haven't destroyed the MSP - when your talking 3 flags or even 4 that MSP makes a huge impact on that map - completely different from finding a MSP on say Op Metro
- if you set one up on the other side of the map same near flags A & B - even sending a crew back to go get them before you're halfway thru taking the flag you'll have 3 or 4 dudes on you that only got there that quickly because of a MSP - you're objective is getting across in a fast mover is to take the flag, stopping to check the second level of a building or a bush/rocks just off to the side is not your priority - so now you have 2 flags covered out of 3 or 4....blerrr...its not BF...
Another MSP location im noticing that pisses you off is Flag B on Strike at Karkland - very open with buildings around and directly above the flag - if you don't have armour forget it - I gotta a ripper nade up there the other day only to have them respawn directly above me as i started to take the flag - I got cover against the sniper up there and got rpg'd from above as others spawned there/changed class after my nade
