Closest game I've ever played I think and reminded me of why I still play this game, with it's bugs and all.

Still think if the breeze went the other way we would've come out on top, that was how close it was.

I drank about 7 beers without noticing what i was drinking, my eyes were literally glued to the computer screen watching the cast.

Well played by both teams, i'm sure your hearts were all pounding on the finale haha.

The game was INSANE to cast. The WD's dont just go out to Crayons. [] put in a HUGE effort, and as you say a couple of common hits here or there would have changed the outcome of that match.

Chrisis has gone to bed, but left the upload running. I am going to publish the file at about 12:45 just to make sure it has properly uploaded. So for any late nighters still up, thats one to look forward to

When I exited the match, I had 28 steam messages open. Most were from seperate clans, who had their teams listening in, so there was a huge audience for it too.

Definitely was intense. Very well played by the [] guys, gg!

Also props to Meshu for coming onto vent after the match, showing his one true skill (being able to talk under water)

Epic game guys, few sketchy moments here and there where I wasn't even on my seat any more (Reaver's b/w episode for eg). Definatly made us rethink the rooms and areas we thought were 100% safe from tanks and what not.

Looking forward to rematch in the finals : D

I'm suprised I haven't seen it mentioned yet, but god the even items are good for competitive game play! Best fix (the only?) Valve has put out yet.

Was a brilliant match to watch. Some of the things you guys can do with the hunter are pretty wicked. Hyu's wall jumping seemed epic. I don't recall seeing *any* of hyu's wall jumping when we scrimmed Crayons before the match, but then, we were getting pounced/smoked from all directions at the time and didn't have time to look at the hunter and go... wow, great jumping.

And travelling almost half the DA3 map on b&w and surviving... great work.

lol yeah was a good game, I watched it in bed on my laptop, but fell asleep at the start of the finale, and awoke AS SOON as the last team was entering the plane. Will have to watch it later

Chapter 3, VERY DISAPPOINTING , I wanted to see Reaver DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Undoubtedly the best match I've viewed to date - big thanks to both the teams. I hope everyone watches what the teams do with the burning hunter on Dead Air 2 - this is exactly the kind of thing that should filter into the competitive scene (at the very least, imo I wish ppl who only played on pubs watched these matches so that overall pub play got more enjoyable) and part of the reason we cover the big matches. Raising the bar for everyone so to speak.

It was also great to have live feedback while we were casting so that we showed the community what they wanted to see (e.g. hyu's hunter work).

Plus props to whoever it was from VVL that figured out if they added my steam to their friends list a pop-up appeared with their friend's name. Might be something we encourage in future so that ppl can do their own shout-outs etc. Could be used for abuse tho so depending on tard activity I might have to switch it off... let's see how it goes though!

Aside from that we have a casting request clash for Wednesday so I'm going to post a poll regarding which match you guys want me to cover with GTV, so be sure to look for that and vote.
