So i have been playing forza since the first one on the original xbox and have seen alot of posts and videos of people drifting, so ive got the car now i want to know what you guys think is the best begginer track to learn to drift on.

any other tips you have would be ace

Maple Valley full circuit is good to learn on. Lots of long corners to practice getting your angle right and work out what gears your car/drift tune works best in

i take it i should be driving manual too? so far I've been doing alright in auto (before anyone flames me i spend all day in a manual car so most of the time i cant be arsed driving stick in a game)

well ive done about 30 laps on the maple full circuit and im proud to say that i am getting there.. oh so slowly but i am getting there

so far my main problem seems to be holding an angle throughout the whole corner without oversteering

Try just tapping the accelerate button, rather than holding it down
It'll help you to keep the angle better.

I can give you one of my tunes if you want, should be easy for beginners and pros.
I personally learned to drift on Sazuka East but my personal favorite track is tsukuba, Sazuka is the most free flowing track in the game and that should help get you used to transitioning the drift and just how to keep it going.
