Nothing too special for the moment, just building a mid-ish range PC (Then will be adding more over time etc)
Only about half way done, decided to start buying things just before shops had to close haha. Gotta go back after Christmas and pick up the left overs.

As it is:
Thermaltake Armor+ VH6000BWS
Asus GTX550 Ti
Coolmaster GX 750W p/s
8 Gig RAM

Grump - Yeah probably, but either way I wasn't going to get the full thing bought in about 7 minutes so I just got what I could before I was kicked out lol.

Apex - Have to find the packaging, pretty sure it's just some scrandy 2x4G for now.

Meovin - Plenty of room for activities. ;]

Yeah didn't mind 2 days before Christmas, didn't really want to be stuck at work I guess.

Ohwell gives me time to get flamed etc on what I should buy and probably get afew after Christmas sales.

Should have spent less on the case so you could spend more on the gpu and that psu is insane overkill for a 550 ti.

Actually it did get a bronze rating, but it's terrible all the same.

Could of but liked the look of the case.
Would rather but a new GPU in 3- months than a new case.
I'll end up buying a new GPU when I go back to finish buying whats left.

Yeah some may call it that, I just call it having a PSU that can handle what I want to through at it later down the track.

So you chose to spend $175(ish) on a case based on aesthetics when there are cheaper superior cases and wasted $150(ish) on a 550ti when you're going to replace it in three months?

Makes sense.

The only thing the Armor+ has going for it is the removable motherboard tray.

Yeah pretty much. Liked the look and fits what I want to achieve. Thats why it's my build.
Yeah and cause the new PC isn't running yet I've just chucked the GPU in my old PC so it will be staying there. Thus getting another new GPU for the new build.

So yeah does make sense.

Emphasis is on the overkill. According to reliable reviews on the GX series they have component frying voltage ripple under load. Don't get crap power supplies when there's good ones at the same price.

Silverstone Strider Plus 600W or Antec HCG 620W or Corsair TX-650 V2 at that price point.
