Transferring files from 1 xbox to another [LOCKED]

ive just recently got my old HDD back and was wondering how i could transfer some of the games, CoD map packs and Gamer profiles from that hard drive to an external HDD.

can i do it with a usb?
what cord or equipment do i use?

i really have no clue how to do this aha so any help would be much appreciated.

If you already had this content on the Xbox live profile you are using you can simply go to account and download history and just re download them again, no matter how old they are, I don't really know much about transferring things though :s
