Hi there i've found what seems to be a good cable sleeving [http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=551&products_id=18246]

It's braided which is what i have researched is the best as it conceals the cable better than a nylon or plastic sleeve, i was just wondering if anyone has purchased or have any recommendations.

I'm going for this sort of look [http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=17458] however i don't want to buy it premade as that would spoil the fun of modding, plus this is an older pc and dont want to spend a heap.

Also for the fans I am installing five new 120mm fans, one of the five can be bigger but no bigger than 180mm. I am wanting dark blue LED fans i think, as a UV reactive + cold cathode set up seems to be quite a bit lighter blue, unless someone knows of some others. I'm wanting the darker blue because of my blue motherboard light (not sure on the proper name sorry first timer). So far i've found [http://www.crazypc.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=120199&Product_Code=R4-L2R-20AC-GP]. If anyone has any help they could provide on prior experience with fans that would be greatly appreciated. One white 120mm fan would also be good as i believe that would look best behind a custom fan guard i am purchasing

Thanks, all help is appreciated.

OK, so how sleeving works(correct me if im wrong here) is where the Power Supply wire, goes through sleeving to give it a better look, and less chance of breakages or wear. Sleeving is good, but time consuming, it can look very good if done right. Remember it will take time, so be patient.

Now, the exciting bit, fans.
Depending on how much CFM you want it to move and how noisy you want it to be will depend on the brand / look of the fan.
I take it you aren't quite knowledged on how much CFM / DBA you want, so i will give you some recommendations.

Now i suggest you try for some Fractal,Enermax or maybe even some scythe fan. As they are all quiet and move enough air to give your case some nice airflow. Most of these fans wont come with LED's on them but they are very very good fans.
A few i recommed:
Fractal Silent Series:http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=9_1100
Enermax Twisters:http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=9_839&products_id=15589
Scythe Typhoon:http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=9_247&products_id=8748
The Typhoons can look mint with some lighting.

Lighting,
Instead of getting LED's on the fans themselves, why not get a white fan, or paint the fan white. Get some LED's and make sure to point it at the white fans. Generally it will reflect, looking boss. I do understand that LED's do look nice on fans, but if you want LED's you will have to sacrifice CFM and noise levels.

Any other questions, shoot.

Thanks man, im going to sleeve every single wire in my pc individually, i know this will take time, but im hoping it will pay off, i don't mind the time, this kind of thing i enjoy and rather it not be a 5minute job.

Also thanks fan wize im not sure if you could see the one i posted http://www.crazypc.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=120199&Product_Code=R4-L2R-20AC-GP try copy paste that link, it seems to have one of the higher CFM and a lower average DBA.

Thanks

The ones you linked seem good, i especially like the enermax, but that would be a bit more pricey with the amount i need.

With the example you provided, the Coolermaster fan has 69.69 CFM and 19dBA at 2,000 RPM, it also comes with bright blue ******* lights. Now, you compare that to the Enermax, 46CFM but only at 8DBA and 1,000 RPM. Notice that if i double the RPM of the enermax, i would get over 90 CFM under the same amount of RPM's Coolermaster is doing but less noise and more airflow.

The general rule with fans is, if you want good fans, don't get any of the Coolermaster, Thermaltake, Thermalright, Xigmatek etc. They are all shit fans. (bar some, corsair do SOME good fans.)
If you want good fans, do research, it will be more expensieve, but it is well worth it.

first up, if you're sleeving your whole psu and internal wiring, youll need just over 100m or so of the actual sleeve itself. Theres $200.

secondly, you will need a buttload of heatshrink. Considering you use about 15-20mm per end of each wire. 100+ wires = more than 200 pieces. 200 x 20mm = 4m. Another $10 there.

Thirdly, get the right tools. Depinning set is handy, as well as a crimper and spare pins cos you WILL break some. Thats another $100 or so there.

So add that up, you're looking at around $310 ish, and then add a good week of frustration and the time it takes you to get through it all.

Now on to the fans.

Where to start, Not all LED fans are rubbish, in fact some are quite good.

What you need to decide is do you want LED fans or not.

The enermax ones are really nice, but dont quite work the way b0b suggested. They run at max 1000rpm, so theyre quiet, but will never push more than 46cfm.

All the others will be the same, where they list the MAX rated RPM and CFM. What you need to look for, as an example is this (LINK), at maximum speed it will run @ 1900rpms and push 110cfm, but at the cost of noise. You can drop these fans down to say 1000rpm with a fan controller or volt mod, which in turn drops noise as well as CFM by around 1/2 to 3/4 depending on the volts you put into them.

Lighting:

There is not going to be any cheap way to get dark blue LED's or cathodes, light is light no matter how you tint it. You can use blue LEDs with a dye on them, or a cathode with a blue wrap over it to dull the light a little, but seeing as this is your first attempt, i wouldnt suggest it.

The coolermaster fans you picked out are not horrid, they are bit noisy tho if you dont volt them down. They have the black fins and blue lights which isnt so bright. So do these bitfenix ones, which come in enough different sizes too.

That should give you enough to ponder for now.

Have fun, ill check back soon.

Thanks guys, those bitfenix fans you posted look great karma and the different sizes while having the same style is a deffinate plus i think ill go for 3 blue LED 120mm 1 blue 140mm LED and 1 white 120mm LED. As for the sleeving the time is not a worry for me plus me not being on the pc all the time will please my mum aha. Bitfenix sell there own sleeved cables, do you think it would be better for me to buy pre sleeved or do it myself? Or is it more of a personal preference thing? Noise isn't really an issue a such as when my pc is on my headphones are on, also with the amount of fans im placing, the air flow should be pretty good i think.

It will have alot of airflow, but most probably noisy, unless you do it right
