So im looking into purchasing World of Warcraft.

Roughly how much would it cost to buy everything like CD's, make an account, play online etc etc.

Sorry dont know too much about it!

1. Buy the game, how ever you want. IE: online, or a physical copy.
2. Update, and play.
3. ???
4. Pay for a shit game.

Wait for Guild Wars 2.

You gotta buy the original WoW,
then the Burning crusade
then Wrath of the Lich King
then Cataclysm

then you got to pay for the game time which is 15 AUD (I think) per month

The earlier expansions are fairly cheap... Like 15-20 dollars I dunno, cataclysm will be like 40-50 dollars.

All of this is available through the blizzard store (got to make an battle.net account first). All digital purchases make's it easy, Blizzard support can help you a lot if you get confused...

But if you want to go to a store to buy this stuff, be careful not to get the WoW game time card confused with the original WoW box, they look similar. I can link pictures of the boxes if you're going to go into the store.

WoW is free to play to level 20. if u wont an account i might sell my for some cash. its fully upgraded to Cataclysm and all. only have a level 49 warrior.

You're looking at about $140 for everything too start if you're looking at buying store copies (Cata $60, Wrath $50, Chest $30 (BC and Vanilla). $20 a month if you're buying Game Cards for time every month, though, the game has gone to hell I don't reccomend starting, but if you're set on it then go for it.
