Hello loving community!

Just making a thread about the GIGABYTE Battlefield 3 Cup Asia Season 1, because yellow is yelling at me.

Team Immunity, Team eXile 5, Carnage, and Steelrain e-Sports have been accepted into the comp to play against teams from Southeast Asia in a single-elim competiton consisting of 16 teams from the region.

Prize pool is about $9.5k worth of cash and hardware, with $6.5k worth going to first place, making this the biggest competition to be run in BC2 or BF3 for our community. Unfortunately it was announced with a very short time-frame and there were limited spots available to each country.

Immunity and eXile 5 are playing their first match at 11 PM against some teams from Thailand and Singapore.
Carnage is playing at 12 PM tonight I think.

The format is 8v8 with all unlocks and gadgets, which has been interesting to get used to so quickly.

Of all teams, why did Steelrain get a spot? Without a doubt MF deserved it.

I don't think a lot of teams could of made the times that were available, over new years etc.

I mean they had no way of knowing who was good or not really, must of been the e sports in the name. "Esports Gaming Network" paying off big time
