ok first of all i got a disc with the cable, have no clue what to do with it when it loads on and shows that i have a 120gig HDD plugged in.

and when i boot up my new xbox, go to storage and have my old xbox HDD plugged in via the tfer cable, it shows up as an unreadable USB device, giving me the option to configure or customize. if i configure, it says that if will remove all previous data stored on the HDD, not what i want to do at all...

so im stuck, tried numerous google searches and youtube video's and im truely ****ed.

if you know what to do or have done this before please either post, PM me or buddy me and it would be greatly appreciated!! :'(

its because the transfer cable is to old and not compatible with the new box.. u can use a External HDD ( i just used a 32gb USB) configure that transfer all ur data onto that (includiung GAMES SAVES(VERRY IMPORTANT)) then transfer it onto the new xbox

(total time 1-2 hours depending on how much you have to transfer)

then load up ur profile on your new xbox and transfer all the licences and redownload all ur DLC (but because u already have it on your console each item will only take 5 seconds to "redownload" will go from 0% to 1% to 100% all within 5 seconds)
